I HATE ACER. This is a hate group. This is a platform for all those people who hate ACER, to come forward and share their feelings, express their views. We all are living in 20th century; we have freedom to speech & expression.

This is my request to all the people, who visit this blog, to please come forward and share your views.

I am a student perusing third year of my engineering in computing. I am from a middle class family. I had purchased an Acer Laptop – ACER TRAVELMATE NWLMI 4602. I had financed the purchase of laptop from my education loan.

At the time of purchase, I had a good image of brand ACER. I had even heard that it was the best selling notebook of Europe at that time. But later as I was using the product, I came to know the truth. Acer is one of the worst brands of laptop I have ever seen. I never expected Acer product to be of so low quality.

What would you say about the quality of a laptop, of which a customer gets its mother board replaced 2-3 times, hard disk 2-3 times, DVD-ROMs 2-3 times, speakers 2-3 times, adapter 1 time within warranty period. This is not a story; these are the facts about my laptop. Acer on its websites says “Empowering People”, but I would say the correct version should be “empowering people with a machine which is out of order most of the times”. The machine was not functional for most of the time during warranty period. Acer laptop has made huge losses in my study.

This is just a start. I will add lots more.

You are very right. I also have several Problems in ACER Laptop. Not only I but all of my colleagues have same problem. In my college almost all my friends having acer laptop are frustrated from its hardware problems and from their services.

Hi. Right said dude. This is a matter of fact. Even i am experiencing loads of problems with acer notebook. I think brands like acer should be banned if they are delivering such kind of products. Brands like acer should stop existing, they should be ashamed of the quality of their products. On the top of that, they are pathetic in their services. God help us all, all the frustrated customers of acer.

Exactly one year and three months after I purchased an aspire 4520, the battery died of overheating. I've pressed on the power button less than ten times in a month that year. A week after the retailer replaced the battery (and conveniently scratched the supposedly scratch-proof top), the piece of crap continues to deny that a dvd-writer exists. If there is anything that comes near the description of a commercially legal torture device, this is it.

i have bought 5930g about 2 years ago...
in june 2010 my notebook has broken and my videocard,hdd and mainboard had changed.
After that my notebook started to freeze in first 30 mins after i turn it on.
i sent my notebook to service 8 times because of that problem and my video card and thermal module has changed.
and my problem is still continuing. i cant solve the problem with acer turkey. i want contact information of acer europe but they say they cant. and i still have a broken notebook.
so what can i do about that issue?
and can anyone give me the contact information of acer europe

p.s.: sorry about broken eng :/

I hate Acer. Within 6 months of my purchasing an Acer computer I had the following problems: the battery failed (Acer first denied any responsiblity but then replaced after I complained); my keyboard letters have started falling off (Acer refuses to replace). I recommend that people do not buy Acer computers due to their bad workmanship and poor customer support.

I also hate my acer laptop. It has a cd drive, but has no way of actually opening it. What bs.
